Office Depot Surprise Birthday Offer + Rewards Programs

Office Depot does have a “special birthday offer” if you join their VIP rewards program…

We contacted Office Depot to confirm if they have a birthday offer. They were kind of evasive with their answer but understandably because their policy on this may change on their end from time-to-time. That’s what we gather from their response. They do have a “special birthday offer” if you become a VIP member of their rewards program. We just don’t know the specifics of that special birthday offer is.

Some of the perks for becoming an Office Depot (basic level) Rewards member include:

  • 2% back in rewards on your favorite supplies, furniture, technology & more
  • Members-only savings including Rewards Member Pricing and Bonus Rewards.
  • Redeem rewards instantly at checkout In store, online and on the go.
  • Recycling rewards Get $2 back in rewards when you recycle your ink & toner cartridges. (Up to 10 cartridges per month.)
  • Rewards for reviews Tell us what you think about our products, and get $2 back in rewards. (Up to 3 per month)
  • Dedicated Support All the help you need, when you need it.

They also have a VIP membership which will offer the “special birthday offer” as it mentions on their rewards page. You’ll also receive 5% back in rewards being a member of this rewards program with Office Depot.

Our suggestion is…

Sign-up for the Office Depot Rewards program today if you do enough shopping with them. It will save you money by providing you 2% back in rewards. You’ll also receive additional money saving perks. Don’t expect a birthday offer from their basic program — meaning a birthday perk or freebie; however, if you do enough shopping with them, you’ll save money and that’s what we are all about. At the same time, if you join their VIP membership which is a step above their regular rewards program, you should receive a special birthday offer.
