It will help keep your budget tight and efficient.
BONUS COUPONING TIP:
Make a list of manufacturers you purchase from on a regular or semi-regular basis. Read more about this in my special report below.
ALDI DOES NOT HAVE A REWARDS PROGRAM:
ALDI does NOT have a rewards program or rewards cards.
Instead, ALDI offers low prices on groceries every day, and sometimes has special promotions.
ALDI’S POLICIES ON SHOPPING CARTS:
ALDI requests a 25 cent (quarter) deposit to use their shopping carts. The reason behind this is because ALDI doesn’t have to hire extra staff to collect their grocery carts and the savings then gets passed onto you; the customer.
To unlock a cart, customers have to insert a quarter, and this deposit ensures shoppers return their cart to the corral to get their quarter back.
ALDI’S POLICIES ON SHOPPING BAGS:
What ALDI does is they encourage customers to bring their own bags or purchase reusable bags to save money and resources.
- ALDI wants to save customers money by avoiding adding the cost of bags to prices
- ALDI wants to save resources by reducing the need for plastic bags
- ALDI wants to make the checkout process more efficient

- Paper bags: Cost around $0.12 each
- Reusable bags: Cost around $0.69 for a standard bag and $0.98 for an insulated bag
For more details about ALDI’s policies on shopping carts and grocery bags, you can view their FAQ’s section on their site for more details.
